Arnold “Hoss” Albury is a king of the musical keys, and his Florida sound has gone around the world and back. In college he was one of the “Marching One Hundreds” of Florida A&M University. In Miami, he percolated through Henry Stone’s many labels sharpening his chops as a songwriter, earning influential credits, and playing on sessions for other artists. Albury’s work with The Casuals, and The Rising Sun, as well as artists like Helene Smith, Lynne Williams, James Knight and The Butlers, Sam Early, Frank Williams and The Rocketeers, Betty Wright, and The Oceanliners, help form the DNA of the Miami Sound.
